Walk and Talk

I tried out something new in a recent workshop. As we started the day 2, I asked the learners to pair up, gave them a few questions (on reflecting day 1) and then took a stroll outside the function room. So, just walk and talk to the partner.
It worked well. At least the learners like it a lot. When they came back, they were more outspoken than before. And some told the big group how the walking in open environment encouraged them to be more open-minded and reflective.
I should do more of it when time and environment allow. (The workshop was run in a nice campus kind of environment. There is a lot of green open space.)
